Memorise: And all that believed were together, and had all things common.  – Acts 2:44

Read: Acts 2:44-45 (KJV)

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Bible In One Year: Genesis 49-50, Matthew 15:1-20

MESSAGE:

When God made man in the Garden of Eden, He made everything for everyone to share in common, He didn’t separate anyone’s possessions from the other. This was also the case after Jesus died for our sins and the human race was redeemed. Acts 2:44 says; “And all that believed were together, and had all things in common.

Real Christians are generous people, there is no greed or selfishness in Christ who we are like. If you find yourself being selfish, check your salvation because Jesus is not selfish. Our God is love so if God lives in you, you will love your neighbors as you love yourself and when you love someone; you will not withhold anything from the person.

Key Point: Whatever you have was given to you by God, so share with others.

Hymn 13: Make Me A Channel Of Blessing

1. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is the love of God flowing through you?
Are you telling the lost of the Savior?
Are you ready His service to do?

Chorus
Make me a channel of blessing today,
Make me a channel of blessing, I pray;
My life possessing, my service blessing,
Make me a channel of blessing today.

2. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Are you burdened for those that are lost?
Have you urged upon those who are straying
The Savior who died on the cross?

3. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is it a daily telling for Him?
Have you spoken the Word of salvation
To those who are dying in sin?

4. We cannot be the channels of blessing
If our lives are not free from known sin;
We will barriers be and a hindrance
To those we are trying to win.
