Topic: You Are Well Able [Sunday, 12th November, 2017]

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. Numbers 13:30

I am going to state it as it is. For the child of God, there is no disability in Him. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that is beyond his ability. The things he cannot do are the things he doesn’t want to do, or the things that he is afraid to do. But why will fear be the limiting factor to God’s sons and daughters? That’s not consistent with who we are. Fear is not part of our system. The life we now live, we live it by the faith of Jesus Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us (Galatians 2:20). So the faith of Christ is at work in us, not fear. So, delete the fear part.

Faced with a mountainous tasked? You are well able to make it plain with the swag of the Holy Spirit. Faced with something new and beyond your scope of knowledge and skill sets? The Holy Spirit is at work in you to teach you all things. The thing is, you are enabled supernaturally, so you are well able. The capacity with which you operate with is not that of man, but you are operating with the capacity of the Holy Spirit, so you are well able. As long as you are able to know and understand anything, you can operate in its sphere. And scripture talks about you in this regard thus: “but ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things” (1 John 2:20). Glory to God!

I don’t know what you’ve heard about your ability, I don’t know what you’ve tried and failed in, I really don’t care how many times people have talked down on your ability because they are viewing it from a human perspective. But one thing I am so sure of is that YOU ARE WELL ABLE. You can do all things through the enablement that the strength of Christ brings in you. The strength of Christ, not your human strength. That strength is at work in you. Always look forward to doing things that are seemingly difficult for others. Why? Because YOU ARE WELL ABLE.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

I know the power of the Holy Spirit is at work in me, enabling me beyond human capabilities to efficiently and effectively do all that is before me, even in the task that is beyond my knowledge and skill sets. I rely fully on the Holy Spirit’s strength, and with Him, I am well able, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
