Teens’ Open Heavens 13th November 2017 by Pastor Adeboye - Activating The Glory Of God

Topic: Activating The Glory Of God [Monday 13, November 2017]

Memorise: “Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? “John 11:40

Read: John 11:39-44

39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Bible In One Year: Acts 4-5. Hymn: Sing Hymn 3: Deeper, Deeper in the Love

MESSAGE:

Believing what God says about the way condition we are going through is very vital to our walk as Christians. When we believe the Word of God, we are expressing our confidence and trust in His abilities. There is nothing beyond Him. This is why you cannot afford to continue in sin. If you want to activate the glory of God in your life, you have to know Him, and live a life worthy of His calling.

You must learn to always look beyond bad situations and lift your eyes to God Almighty. Overlook all the reports, conditions, difficulties and obstacles; lift your eyes to the Lord in prayer, in praise, in worship and in fasting, and you will be surprised at what the Lord will do. There is no solution elsewhere; the real glory is in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Point: Father, let Your glory be made manifest in my life.

Sing Hymn 3: Deeper, Deeper in the Love

1. Deeper, deeper in the love of Jesus
Daily let me go;
Higher, higher in the school of wisdom,
More of grace to know.

Refrain:
Oh, deeper yet, I pray,
And higher every day,
And wiser, blessed Lord,
In Thy precious, holy Word.

2. Deeper, deeper, blessed Holy Spirit,
Take me deeper still,
Till my life is wholly lost in Jesus,
And His perfect will.

3. Deeper, deeper! though it cost hard trials,
Deeper let me go!
Rooted in the holy love of Jesus,
Let me fruitful grow.

4. Deeper, higher, every day in Jesus,
Till all conflict past,
Finds me conqu’ror, and in His own image
Perfected at last.

5. Deeper, deeper in the faith of Jesus,
Holy faith and true;
In His pow’r and soul exulting wisdom
Let me peace pursue
