In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2. Read: 14:1-6

If it were not so! If there is no heaven, if there is not mansions and rooms in my Father’s house, I would have as well told you there are not. I can’t lie to you. What do I stand to gain if I lie to you. I can’t tell you what’s not. Now that I tell you the truth, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. I love you so much, I don’t want you to be separated from Me on the last day, just abide in my Words, when I come again, I will take you to the place I have gone to prepare for you. From the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, it shows that, the second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent and certain and the Saints shall surely be raptured on the last day to be with the Lord forever. 1 Thess 4:13-17

The teaching of Jesus second coming or rapture should not create fear in the heart of the believers, rather, help them to avoid what would rob them of that glorious event in history. Jesus said, Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Jn 14:1. The unbelievers should be pricked to their hearts and ask, what must we do to be saved to escape that dreadful day where many shall be left behind to face the great tribulation? Jesus is certainly coming again to take His people, will you be in the number?
