Dunamis’ Daily Devotional April 6, 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche – Reigning Through Praise

Topic: Reigning Through Praise [Thursday April 6, 2017]

Scripture: The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Genesis 49:10

Thought For The Day: Praise establishes a person as a candidate for praise on the earth.

The life of praise is a crucial weapon in the life of every Christian. Every time the devil wants to fight a person’s destiny, he fights their praise life.

Praise is a preserver of life. For instance, Judah literally means praise, and in Genesis 37:26, when the children of Israel wanted to kill Joseph because of his dreams, it was Judah (praise) that rose up and said, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood? This implies that Judah was the voice of praise that preserved the life of Joseph.

Now, what are some of the benefits of Praise?

1. Praise establishes a person as a candidate for praise on the earth. When you praise God without reservations, God will give you results that will make people celebrate God for your life.

2. Praise releases a person into the realm of victory over enemies. When you praise God, your enemies will begin to fight each other for your sake.

Beloved, be determined to walk in the realm of praise today. Praise God not just for what He has done but also for what He is yet to do.

Remember this: Praise establishes a person as a candidate for praise on the earth.

Assignment:

1. Write out the things that God has done for You from the beginning of the year till now and begin to appreciate Him for them.
