A Promise For You From Bible Promises:
Topic: They Shall Flee From You [03/02/2017]
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. Deuteronomy 28:7. Read: Ps 23:4-6
The Bible does teach that enemies exist and they are after the righteous and also, there is a God that protects the righteous from them. The Bible also tells us that, there are different ways God deals with the enemies of His Children or kingdom.
1) He can cause the enemy to be at peace with his children. This will only happen when your ways please Him. Pro 16:7.
2) He can destroy them. At the Red Sea, God made a way for His children to cross while He drowned their avowed enemies in the same part they crossed. Gen 14. God also destroyed the enemies of Joshua in Joshua 10:11
3) He can protect you from them. Like the case of Job, Daniel and his friends.
4) He can even bless you abundantly in their presence so that your blessing can suffocate them. Ps 23.
Finally,
5) He can cause them to Flee for their lives when they come to fight you. They might come in one way, but because they don’t know that the battle is not yours but the Lord, therefore, the Lord of the battle will cause them to create six more ways to escape for their lives, else they are dead. But the above mentioned can only happen if you diligently obey His voice. Will you obey Him?
