A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Stop Testing God [24/02/2017]

And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him. Judges 16:20. Read: Rom 6:1-2

If there is anyone that tested God so much in the Bible days was Samson. As a Nazareth from the womb, there were so many things he was not supposed to engage in. He was not supposed to touch the death let alone eating from what is taken from the death. First, Samson killed a lion and after many days, he went there and took honey out of the carcase of the lion and ate it. Second, he went to marry in the camp of their enemy – Philistine. Samson went to Gaza and saw a harlot, went in unto her. Immediately, he went to uproot the gate of the city. Whenever he gets up from sin, God usually comes upon him, as a result, he thought it would continue.

He went to the valley of Sorek and loved a woman whose name was Delilah. It was in Sorek Samson’s life was wreaked, he met his waterloo in Sorek. After he had revealed the secret of his power, he thought it’s going to be business as usual, he never knew that God had left him. The fact God saved you yesterday does not mean He would save you today if you continue in your sin. He gave you second chance to repent. Stop testing God’s saving grace. Don’t take God for granted or else you become grinded. He saved you yesterday for you to repent today, therefore, don’t test him again today, rather, repent.
