For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7. Read: Nu. 13:27-33
Don’t magnify your fear? You ask, do we have fear? The answer is yes. In the Bible, whenever God visits a man, the first thing He says is, “Fear not”. But God does not want us to capitalize on it and magnify it. When you magnify your fear, you become a slave of it and ensnare yourself. When you magnify your fear, you will remain in perpetual bondage of torment because, “Fear has torment”. 1 Jn 4:18. When you magnify what you fear most in life, you build a stumbling block against your destiny. Fear makes the heart unsound, i.e, it makes the heart sick. Stop magnifying your problem. Stop magnifying your challenges. Stop worrying yourself over what has not happened yet. Don’t walk yourself up over that thing.
The ten spies (out of the twelve) Moses sent to Canaan magnified their fears and ended up destroying themselves and the congregation that believed them. They said, And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Who told them that the Giants saw them? Their fear. Because they magnified it.
