Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Read: Lk 18:1-8
Don’t pray as if your life depends on it, rather, pray because your whole life depends on it. A man cannot go beyond his/her knowledge. In the same vein, a Christian cannot be greater than his/her prayer life. Wherever you are, you need prayers and whoever you are, you also need prayers. When things are bad, you need prayers to make them good and when things are good, you also need prayers to sustain them. You cannot do without prayers because it’s your life. When the enemy gets your prayer life, he has gotten your destiny trapped forever.
You may be a praise machine, but there is a place for prayer. You might be a Word-bank ,you still need prayers. The place of prayer in fulfilling your glorious destiny cannot be overemphasized, it’s so paramount that anointing cannot overshadow it. Jesus could not do without it, so what makes you think you can actualize your destiny without it? Beloved, like Elijah rebuilt the broken altar of God before the fire could fall, go back and rebuild your broken altar before the enemy gets you down. The Church is in dire need of revival today, each one of us must rebuild our prayer altar if indeed we need this revival. See prayer time as a time of refreshing and a burden.
