Topic: El Aman – The Faithful God [Wednesday, 11th Jan. 2017]

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is -God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. Deuteronomy 7:9

God is not only faithful He is Faithful. The word faithful is more of a noun to God than a verb. Faithfulness is not just a virtue of God in isolation, it is from the very personage of God. His name is Faithful. Just as God is called Love, He is also called Faithful. This is a truth that must resonate with us as we relate with the Faithful, because God reveals His act to us through His name. He introduced Himself to Abraham as El Shadai – the Almighty God, and He was indeed mighty in the life of Abraham.

Today, God is introducing Himself to you as El Aman (Hebrew) – the Faithful God. God doesn’t want you to just know Him as El Aman, He wants you to experience His ‘aman-ness’ – faithfulness. But how do you experience this? First, you need to acknowledge Him as El Aman. When you acknowledge God for Who He is, He shows up for you in that light. King David, acknowledged God as El Aman and he declared in Psalms  36:5, “thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.”

God is faithful. He is loyal. God is loyal to your course and He stays true to His Word spoken about you. Because of this, the next thing you must do to enjoy is faithfulness is to have faith in Him. Have faith that He is always going to stay loyal to your course and watch over His Word to perform it in your life. El Aman is ready to reveal Himself to you in this light and see to it that you enjoy His faithfulness fully. Acknowledge Him and believe.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Thank You, Faithful God for revealing Yourself to me. I acknowledge You as the Faithful God and know that You are loyal to my course. I receive all that Your Word has spoken about me, according to Your faithfulness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
