Winning Wisdom: Plan For Growth

And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 3:18

Growth is possible. Man is wired by God to grow and expand. But like everything in life, growth and expansion is planned and prepared for. Growth is not wishful thinking. Growth is not stumbled upon. For growth to become a reality it must be planned and prepared for. We, as God's people, have been ordained for growth, but it won't happen if we sit down and fold our hands. That is why we must take conscious effort to plan and prepare for growth.

Firstly, we need to wrap our head in this that growth is possible and that we have the ability to expand in all aspects of our lives (Mark 9:23). Secondly, we need to ascertain the extent of the growth we want. Growth must be measured so that when it comes we will know it has come, and when it hasn't come we will know we still are not there. Have a predetermined mark to measure you growth by (Philippians 3:14).

Thirdly, we need to outline how to meet our measured growth. "What are the actions you need to take to get there?" Every action should be a target for you and each of them should move you closer to your predetermined expansion (James 1:25). Take those actions. No matter how good your plans are on paper, if you don't take the actions, growth will only be a mirage. Lastly, in every of these processes, always enthrone God in them. Because it is with God all things becomes possible (Matthew 9:29).

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You for ordaining me for growth. I know with You  growth is possible. As I plan towards growth, Your wisdom is available to me, and I enjoy the growth I have planned for, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
