Topic: Plan For Growth 2 [Thursday, 15th Dec. 2016]

And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Sometimes, we have seen where plans get stucked. There are situations where we might be taking steps outlined to reach our predetermined growth plans, but we come up short of our goals and we are either left frustrated of confused. That is the time we begin to search for answers on why we were unable to meet our growth plans, despite meticulously following the steps. So, that growth plan in our churches, businesses, careers and jobs now seem unattainable.

The tendency to give up on our goals when we don’t meet them are high. But a review of the steps and actions taken will unravel where we faltered. Now, that is not the time to change the goal, unless it is outrightly unrealistic. That is the time to change our strategy. For example, if a business hopes to gain a 10% of its market shares up from its current 20%, and it’s first strategy was to do that through promotions during festive period, but it failed, it can shift from promotions to either more value at the same price, or bonuses for referrals from current customers – but still with the aim of increasing it’s market share by 10%.

Or maybe a church wants to increase her membership strength by 20% of it’s current 500 members, but still uses it’s current facility that can only sit a maximum of 550 members. No strategy employed will work in her bid to get to the projected membership base unless they expand their current facility to accommodate the projected number or move into another facility that can accommodate the projected number. When we are stuck, we just need to sit down and restrategize the “how to – actions” of our plan and trusting in God’s divine direction, we will reach our goal.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You because I know if I fail in my plans for growth, there is still a second chance to take the right strategy and reach my goal. I trust in Your Spirit to help me at all the times I plan for growth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
