Topic: The Christian GPS [Thursday, 29th Dec. 2016]

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20

A GPS ( Global Positioning System) is a satellite navigation system that provides location and time information in all weather conditions anywhere on earth. When you’re not familiar with a particular place or neighborhood, a GPS  navigation device can help you pinpoint your location and help you find your way around easily.

If you don’t know how to get to a place, it is because you didn’t have directions and that is the same as not knowing the significance of the Holy Spirit in you. Our anchor scripture reveals to us our GPS as sons and daughters is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Guide, Friend and Director. The Holy Spirit is not just an add on to our Christian life but He is the power behind it all. A lot of us have played dormant to His leading and we are just known to be Christians who go to church but the Spirit isn’t really at work in us. It might be that you want to travel for something or meet an appointment and the Holy Spirit says no. Do you actually listen or know when He speaks?

Remember our God is all knowing and dwells in us through the Holy Spirit, making us have the mind of Christ and helping us make informed decisions. (1 cor 2:10,16). According to Myles Munroe, the Holy Spirit is the most important person on earth because it is through Him we have a direct link to heaven and we can do that by praying in tongues. Tongues are an integral part of the manifestation of God’s presence in our lives. Praying in tongues works very much like our spiritual GPS. Those times you wanted to take certain steps and something tells you not to; it is not something but rather the Holy spirit at work in you. Activate the power you have in you by constantly praying in tongues because the Holy Spirit lives in you and He is the Power through which you live your life.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord for giving me Your Spirit that is able to direct, teach and help order my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
