Topic: The Secret of Divine Health and Vitality [December 20, 2016]
Scripture: Beloveth, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth. – 3 John 2.
Thought For The Day: To fear God is to be healed by Him.
From our anchor scripture, we see that it is the Will of God for us to prosper and be in good health at all times even though we live in a world of strange afflictions and diseases. It is vital to note that Jesus took the infirmities of humanity upon Himself on the cross of Calvary, so, we do not have to carry them anymore (1 Peter 2:24).
However, it is important to be armed with what it takes to live in health and vitality.
A major secret of living in Divine health and vitality is living in the Fear of God. The Bible says in Proverbs 3:7-8, be not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thy bones. To fear God is to be healed by Him.
Proverbs 8:13 also says, the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Iniquity invites infirmity. A man who lives in transgression lives in a broken hedge that is penetrable by the devil.
Beloved, live in the fear of the Lord and you are guaranteed a sorrow-free and sickness-free existence.
Remember this: To fear God is to be healed by Him.
Assignments:
1. Watch your thoughts and speak positive words to yourself regularly.
2. Endeavour to take a fast at least once a week to detoxify your spirit of toxic substances.
3. Live in the fear of God.
Prayer: O LORD, I declare that everything in my life is working. Every organ, system, artery, vein, nerve, tendon, ligament is functioning in the perfection of creation. I refuse to comply with any negative symptom in my body, in the Name of Jesus.
