Topic: The Touch of God [December 19, 2016]

Scripture: And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. Mark 8:22-26

Thought For The Day: God is ready to empower people who have decided to entrust their future into His Hands.

There are certain encounters we have when we experience the Touch of God that will leave an indelible mark on our lives and destinies. From our anchor Scripture, the blind man of Bethsaida was brought to Jesus for a TOUCH. When Jesus touched him, his sight was restored and his life changed.

What then do you do to encounter the TOUCH of God?

You need to recognize your need for the Touch of God. You must be willing to be led by God and surrender your life’s direction to Him. God is ready to empower people who have decided to entrust their future into His Hands. You must also be willing to be led out of the crowd. God never does important things with a person whose life is too crowded.

Archbishop Benson Idahosa (of blessed memory) once said, ‘It is better to be controversial than to be inconsequential.’ When you come to the point where people can no longer take your Christianity for a joke, then you are ready for His Touch.

Beloved, when you recognize your need and submit your plans to Him; He will Touch you beyond your wildest imagination.

Remember this: God is ready to empower people who have decided to entrust their future into His Hands.
