Topic: Be Willing To Come Back To God [16/12/2016]
Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. Micah 7:8. Lk 15:11-32
God's willingness to save and embrace humanity cannot be overemphasized. God's utmost plan for humanity is that they be saved from their sin and impending danger ahead of all unrepentant sinners. God is not willing that any man should be doomed, but that all should come to the knowledge of the Saviour Jesus Christ. No matter the sin you've committed, God is willing to save you from its grip if you turn to him now through his dear son Jesus. There is no sin greater than God's mercy and the blood of Jesus to wash away. The Bible says, Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient. Isa 1:18-19.
No matter how far you've gone from God, you must be willing to come back before He can receive and restore you to your mansion. The prodigal son was willing to return back to his father, and even before he got back home, his father had always waited and yearned for his coming. Though he committed one of the greatest sin which led to his backsliding, but his father never gave up on him. God yearns and awaits your return to Him, He is waiting earnestly for you. He doesn't want your destruction at the end of age. Wouldn't you rather be willing to return back to God now?
* Father, l am willing to return back to You, please accept me back in Jesus name.
