The life of a tree is in it root and the sustenance of the root lies in the moisture of the ground. Without the root, there can’t be a tree and without the moisture, the root of a tree would wither. The trees cannot survive without it connectivity to the soil, else, it would die and wither. In our world today, connection is the trending language, some call it man know man.
In as much as earthly connection is important to have, we must also ask ourselves the same question, am I connected to the source of my life – Jesus? You see, even if you have all the connections in the world, you can still fail, you can still be disappointed by those whom you thought can never let you down. The only connection that is everlasting (so long one keeps the terms of the covenant) is the connection to Jesus. Jesus said, “if you abide in Me and I in you, you can do anything”. To abide means to stay put to one course in life. You that have suffered countless disappointments, all you need is divine connection. Get yourself connected to Jesus now and surrender your life to Him. Are you connected?
