And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. Luke 4:39
The Lord loves doing miracles. Apart from it being one of the ways to destroy the works of the devil, it is a means of exalting God and giving Him glory. For us, it is a means to make our lives align with His will for us. But most importantly, God does the miraculous in and through us so that we can be ministers - servants - to Him. God's miracles for His servants gives us the opportunity to be of service to our kingdom.
The mad man of Gadarene was miraculously delivered from demonic possession. And when Jesus sent him away to his house, he instead "went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him" (Luke 8:39). Also, Mary Magdalene who was delivered of demonic possession by Jesus, became one of the key financials of Jesus' ministry.
God's miraculous works in our lives should inspire us into service for Him. We must, like Peter's mother-in-law, rise up after every miracle to minister - be of service - unto the Lord. That's one of the most important reasons God has given you salvation, that job, that business, that money spinning idea, that is why He restored your health, delivered you from demonic oppression and from that ghastly accident. He did these so you could minister to Him. Minister - be of service - to the Lord.
Keep winning daily.
Dear Lord, thank You for Your miraculous works in my life. I will continuously be of service to our kingdom, telling the world how miraculous You are, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
