Winning Wisdom: Armed With Faith

Topic: Armed With Faith [Friday, 11th Nov. 2016]

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16

Faith, based on God's Word, works wonders. If you decide to take faith with you every where you go, every day of your life, your life will be full of miracles. Apostle Paul told Timothy to hold faith always, everywhere he goes and never put it away like others, so he won't end up shipwrecked (1 Timothy 1:19). If you want to get things done, you need faith, powered by God's Word. Faith is the energy you need to perform and work in the miraculous daily.

As a believer, you need faith to exceed boundaries. Even when the odds are against you and the road seems so rough and there is no succour in sight. When hope seems to be fading away, with your faith, based on God's Word, everything is bound to work together for your good. Your faith will make every crooked way straight and turn trials into testimonies for you. This is why you should always hold onto your faith. Never put it away.

Scriptures tell us in Hebrews 11:29 that "by faith they (the Israelites) passed through the Red Sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned." Faced with the Red Sea in front of them and the Egyptians hot on their heels, the Israelites were in a dead end. But Moses cried out unto God, and God said to him "speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward. But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea" (Exodus 14:15-16). Armed with faith, based on God's Word, they matched through the Red Sea on dry ground. Arm yourself with faith always, don't put it away; you will live daily in the miraculous with it.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
I live in the miraculous. Daily, my life is full of miracles because I am armed always with my faith which is based on the sure Word of God. Crooked ways are made straight. Lines are falling in pleasant places, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
