A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Let The Poor Say… [12/11/2016]

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians  8:9. Read: Pro 23:7-9

It’s ridiculous, oh yes, very ridiculous to be swimming in abject poverty and, still claiming to be rich or wealthy. It doesn’t make sense! It sounds so crazy, isn’t it? Yes, it is. It looks so crazy when the man of God  told his servant, Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. Even when her only son was lying dead at home, she said it is well and it was eventually well. Wow! Please note that Oftentimes, only the ridiculous brings the miraculous.

Your mouth can either make you wealthy or impoverish you because riches and poverty are in the power of the tongue, whichever one you choose you get. Your thought life eventually forms the life you live, if your thought life is negative you will live the same reflection and if your thought life is positive, you will also live its reflection. The good news is, you can make your thoughts right through a dose of God’s Word daily. Rom 12:1-2.

As a child of God, you are no longer poor because Christ died poor (though He was rich) on the Cross because of you. He did not only pay for your soul, He also paid for your poverty. Hallelujah! So, don’t be poverty-stricken when it price has been fully paid for. You can set yourself free from poverty by proclaiming it with your mouth.

* Father, I declare and proclaim with my mouth that I am free from poverty and begin to walk in wealth and riches you’ve paid for for me in Jesus Name.
