Heavenly Valued and Earthly Useful. Pt Two

Author: Emode Victor
A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Heavenly Valued and Earthly Useful. Pt Two [24/11/16]

His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. Job 1:3. Read: Job 29:7-17

Another Bible character that was tremendously blessed was brother Job. He enjoyed all round blessings of the Almighty and the Bible described him the greatest of all the men of East. Wonderful! Job actually fulfilled the scripture in Deut 28:1-14. Despite all his wealth, he still maintained a close relationship with God that caused God to build a hedge round him and the devil could not invade him.

But then, the glory of men they say is in their story. There are secrets to Job's greatness. Chapter one of Job described him as a perfect and upright, and one who feared the Lord and eschewed evil. And the Bible says, the secret of the Lord is with them that fears Him. Another thing that made Job great among the men of  the east is documented in our Bible reading, please, take your time to go through it. Job was an eyes to the blind, leg to the lame, defended the poor and the widows. He extended his wealth to outsiders not to his family alone.
