Topic: Changing The King's Decree. Pt One [04/11/2016]
Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? Ecclesiastes 8:4. Read: Dan 2:7-14
A king is a powerful entity that wields power like cobwebs, he can decree death or life to an individual by his great power. When Haman's (the archenemy of the Jews living in Babylon) evil plot was turned against him through the fasting and prayers of Queen Esther, Mordecai and all the Jews in the region, with just a command of the king, Haman was hung and then the king's wrath pacified. Est 6:8-10. That is how powerful a king can be.
If an earthly king can be that powerful, what about the King of all kings, the Lord of all lords, the king Maker - He that enthrones and dethrones kings, the One that owns the heart of the king in His hand. Pro 21:1. The Almighty God. What can He not do? Nothing!
When king Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and forgot about it, he wanted his astrologers to tell him the dream and it interpretation which they could not do,then he ordered their execution. Because Daniel and his friends were involved, they sought the King of kings, He revealed the dream and it interpretation to them which ended up changing the king's initial decree. They changed the king's decree. Wow!
* Father, every evil decree against my life and destiny, by your power, change it for good in Jesus Name.
