Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? Isaiah 53:1. Read: Isa 53:2-5
Bishop David Oyedepo said sometimes ago, that when he went to the hospital to do a medical check up, the doctor told him, Sir, you have high blood pressure. He turned and said to the doctor, it’s not possible. The doctor asked him, do you understand English or you did not hear what I said? He replied, I understand English-speaking , but it’s not possible that I should have high a blood pressure. It sounds crazy and ridiculous, but that is just the truth about faith and believing in the Lord Jesus. It’s a crazy and ridiculous faith in Christ redemptive work on the Cross that brings the miraculous. He often says, can you imagine Jesus Christ being hospitalised? Why should you lay on sick bed when the Bible said, you are healed by Jesus’s stripes. Whose report will you believe, doctor’s or God’s?
Why should you weep because someone called you barren when the Bible said concerning you, “There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil”. Exd 23:26. Whose report will you believe? Let God’s Word dwell in you richly and make His word real to you and begin to claim what is rightly given to you. Hallelujah!
