Winning Wisdom: His Ever Present Presence

Text: John 14: 15-17

One of the things we enjoy as New Testament believer is the presence of God, manifested in us through the Holy Spirit. The presence of God has been desired by men of old. From Moses who wanted to see God and employed Him not to take His presence from the camp to the Israelites, to King David who knew that God was omnipresent and was full of joy going to the house of the Lord. But today, what men of old sought then, has been given to us as a gift.

Jesus said in John  14:16-17 - "and I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." This is an amazing scripture. Jesus said He will send the Holy Spirit to abide with us forever. He is never going to leave us, He will always be with us. He is going to be our Companion,  Comrade, Comforter, Confidant, Counsellor and very importantly, our Commander.

The Holy Ghost in us is very important to us. He brings a lot to us as God's children. But most especially, His presence ensures that we can always have contact with God. Jesus said about Him in John 16:14 that "He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." Having constant contact with Heaven is very essential to us, and it is the Holy Spirit that ensures it. He is ever present with us, which means our contact with Heaven is ever present also. Take advantage of the ever present presence of the Holy Spirit.

Keep winning daily.

Thank You Lord for Your ever present presence in me through the Holy Ghost. Thank You for establishing a constant contact between Heaven and me. I take advantage of this and live a life of consistent victory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
