Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. John 14:8. Read: Matt 6:30-34
Jesus is enough for you. When you tell people that want to ridicule you that Jesus is enough for you, some will tell you to eat Him then. Some will tell you they don’t need Jesus simply because things are going on well with them for now. When you mention that Jesus is enough for you, it takes a spiritual man to understand what you mean, a carnal man of course would misinterpret it.
Jesus being enough for you means, having the consciousness of His ever abiding presence and in His presence, there is fulness of joy and at His right hand, pleasure forevermore. Ps 11:16. This is the peace and joy those that don’t have Him miss. They think money gives peace of mind, guarantees long life, guarantees good sleep, but they that have Jesus sleep like babies and wake up as giants. They’re never afraid of terror of the night nor arrows that fly in noon time. They’re ever peaceful. They never worry about tomorrow because they know certainly, their tomorrow is alright. Isa 3:10. They don’t lobby for anything because, they know their heavenly Father knows they’ve need of it and will give it to them. They don’t also struggle as others who don’t have Him do, they know it’s God’s good intention to bless them as His dear children who walk in obedience.
Beloved, Jesus is all you need to have all your needs met. Like Philip said, Jesus is sufficient for you.
