Topic: Strong Families, Strong Nations [10/8/2016]

Text: Ephesians 3: 14-16

The family is the first point of influence we have in our lives. A strong family unit is the dream of anybody. A strong family is one that have instilled in everyone good morals. They are strong-willed, success driven, visionary, a communal mindset, a commitment to one another. And all these are based on scriptural teachings and principles. When we have a strong family, it will have a direct effect on the nation. Because of the quality of men and women that will emerge, a strong nation emerges. When the family is disjointed and filled with negativities, it’s effect on the members and the nation is telling.

The family is a very important part of God’s plan for mankind. The family was instituted by God as a means of, not only populate the world, but also to build the nation’s of the world. To build a strong family is to build a strong nation. Today Israel is one of the strongest nations of the world because of the strong families it has as her foundation. The families are built on the principles and leading of God. Parents must endeavour to build a strong family base on the teachings and principles of the scriptures.

Ephesians 3:14-15 says: “for this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.” The first step to a strong family is knowing God and influenced by Him. With every family being named by God and controlled by the life of God, a strong nation is bound to emerge. A nation that will be strengthened on all sides as it develops, churning out men and women of integrity. Good and visionary leaders will emerge. With strong families, a strong nation is inevitable.
Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
I pray for all families around the world, that they be strengthened and unified. That men and women of valour and repute, who fear the Lord emerge from our families. That through them strong nations that will love the Lord and build its societies based on God’s principles will emerge, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
