Topic: He Glories In Our Success [17/8/2016]

Text: Ezekiel 33:11

Psalms 35:27 says: “…let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” God is happy to see us prosper in every area of life. It gives Him joy when we are successful in all we are involved in. Romans 8:32 says: “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” And one of those things He wants us to freely have is success. God is not happy to see us struggle or hit a snag, that is why He will give His best to ensure our success. He finds pleasure in our success. As a proud Father, He wants to showcase us as His success story to the world (Job 1:8).

God is far more concerned about you than you can imagine. Metaphorically using life and death to represent success and failure, scriptures say in Ezekiel 33:11 – “say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”  The Lord cannot see us fail and turn a blind eye. He cannot see us struggle through life and not bring help our way. He loves us too much to leave us to fail. He wants to glory always, and our failure will not make Him do that. That is why He has provided the means to our success – the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:3 says: “according as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” His divine power is what we need to be successful in all our life’s endeavour, and that power is in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). With the Holy Spirit partnering with you and I and piloting our affairs, success is assured. And thankfully, He is ready to partner with us and pilot our affairs. Invite Him into your life today and give Him free course to influence your life and bring you success that God will glory in.
Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your interest in me and my success. Today, I invite the Holy Spirit into my life to take charge of my affairs. With Him, I know success is guaranteed always, as I trust and follow His lead, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
