Supreme Court Football Club of Abuja will be expected to bounce back to winning ways on Friday when they confront visiting Adamawa United in one of match day 11 of the Nigeria National League, NNL which gets underway at Area 3 playground.

The Soccer outfit from the Nation’s Apex Judiciary body will be gunning for maximum point in front of passionate fans after a-not-too-impressive outing against Kwara United in Ilorin last weekend.

The result which heralded match day 10 fixture dainted a good run of form for the Abuja-based side that earlier earned a draw away when they played Wikki Tourist Feeders and delightfully defeated resilient FC Taraba 2-1 days later (at week nine encounter).

With the aim of fighting to finish, the Apex Boys that narrowly picked a point in Yola when they clashed with Adamawa United in the first round of the current campaign understand that nothing short of victory was all that would be needed to remain afloat in the country’s second tier league as the abridged league season gradually winds down with four games to go.

Supreme Court FC Technical Adviser, Joachim Osuji who has been speaking on his expectations ahead of the early weekend cracker, inside the Nation’s capital noted that his boys are primed for contest throughout the encounter.

“I believe we cannot settle for anything less than full victory because at this stage of the league, every point counts and as a team we need to consolidate on the table where our club is. Our performance so far this stanza has improved more than what it was in the first round.

“The management on their part has been supportive. As my players that are mainly young boys play together, they understand each other the more. ”

Also speaking, Team Manager, Cletus Nwaobi noted that despite initial setbacks, the team have continued to grow stronger.
