A Promise For You From Bible Promises:

Topic: Criticism Is Inevitable [09/08/2016]

And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it. Numbers 12:2. Read: Num 12:1-3

Someone said, if you want to avoid being criticised, stop making progress in life, then, critics will disappear. But the truth is, whether you make progress or not, you will always have critics around you. It’s important to note that critics are there to enhance our success in life whether it be constructive or destructive criticism. If you have no critic in your chosen field, you’ll likely have no success. Malcolm X. Criticism must be seen as a stepping stone to greatness and not the other way round. You must be strong enough to use your critics as ladder to your success. Criticism is inevitable, but then, like Aristotle put it, “Criticism is something we can avoid easily by saying, doing and being nothing”.

Why do people criticise others for their success? (1) They feel threatened by your success. People do not criticise you because you’re doing the wrong thing, they’re simply afraid of your success. (2) They want to drag you to their level. They feel you’re leaving them behind. (3) They want to be famous. Emmet Fox  said, “Criticism is an indirect form of self-boasting”. Don’t be afraid of being criticised if you’re doing the right thing, pray for grace to convert all critics to success.

#BiblePromisesPrayer:

* Father, the grace to convert all critics to success I receive in Jesus Name.
