Topic: Under the Blessing [14/7/2016]
Text: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Christ did not only saved and gave us His life when we accept Him as our Lord and Saviour, He also redeemed us from every curse that we might had been under, most especially, the cause of the law and also generation or “physical” family curse. A curse is a supernatural detriment or a bane that hinders an individual or group of people. That is, a spiritual negative trend that mitigate against progress. But Jesus saved us from them.

Scriptures say in Galatians 3:13 that,  “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.” So there is no law on earth, that can pronounced you cursed, not even the laws and customs of your former tradition and affiliation. Jesus bore that curse when He hung on the cross. Colossians 2:14 says: “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

You are free from every family or generational curse because you are now part of a new family that is blessed and not cursed. When you received Jesus into your life, you received a new birth and a new family generation that are only blessed. “You are now born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:13). You are now of the family faith and your ancestor, Abraham, lived in the blessing. “So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham” (Galatians 3:9). You are under the blessing and not under any curse. So live in the blessing.
Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
I am from the family of the blessed. I operate in the blessing. I live in the blessing. I am a blessing. All I do is blessed. The blessing makes me rich, rich in all ramifications of life, in Jesus name. Amen.
