A Promise For You From Bible Promises: [18/07/16]

Topic: Itching Ears

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3. Read: 2 Tim 4:1-5

Truth is bitter they say, but not to the righteous ones. Truth only becomes bitter in the ears of those that have missed the way and about to perish. The Bible said, “For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth” 2 Cor 13:8. Like Jesus said to them in Luke  4:21 This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. This scripture is fulfilled also in this generation. Generation that hate to hear the true Gospel, but heap up teachers for themselves to preach to them what they want to hear, not what God wants them to hear. Generation that claim to know God, yet still cling to the world and its lusts. Generation that have itchy  ears devoid of truth following after their heart desires that lead to destruction.

Generation that heap up half-baked teachers for themselves like Paul said, Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 1 Tim  1:7. Jesus called them blind leaders, Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Matt 15:14. Many of the preachers distort the truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to suit their congregation and to enrich their pockets. They’re afraid they might lose their members if they tell them the whole truth. Listen to God’s warning, “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.” Jer 23:1

* It’s better to tell the whole truth than to be judge for half-baked truth.
