Topic: Minister Grace [15/6/2016]
Text: Ephesians 4:29

Words are spirits that proceed out of us to birth life or death, wherever it is sent to. Jesus said in John 6:63: “the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” That is, the words that comes out of His mouth can only give life, hope, strength, encouragement, and support. He cannot and will not speak words that will be detrimental to His hearers. Hebrews 11:3 says “through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God…”

The words that proceed out of our mouth, must not only be words that encourage but also words that build up confidence in the hearer. “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” (Ephesians 4:29). The word “minister” in that scriptures literally means “to give”. Let your words give life, strength, hope and the likes to your hearers.

Do not let corrupt words proceed out of your mouth. Don’t destroy, put down or discourage people with your words. Words can have devastating effect on people, but they can also have capitulating effect on people. Minister grace with your words. You have the life-giving Spirit, so let your words give life only. Dear minister, minister grace.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for Your life-giving Spirit and Who makes my words l life-giving. I minister grace, strength, encouragement, hope and life through my words. People find the will-power to live their lives to the fullest through my words, in Jesus name. Amen.
