A Promise For You From Bible Promises: [18/06/16]

Topic: You’re The Best Man for the Job. Pt Two

And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. Judges 6:12. Read: Judges 6:12-16

Until you see ability in your disability, a life of exploit is unrealistic and unachievable. There is ability in every disability, discover it and make impact. We’ve been told that our lives revolve around our background and determines our destiny. There could be an iota of truth in the above statement, but the new life in Christ Jesus defies that statement. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians  5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”. New life in Christ destroys every limitations ones background has placed one.

Like we’ve seen in the first part of this series how Moses tried to persuade God with his limitations, but God told him, you’re the man for the job. Gideon also tried to tell God his family being poor and small in Manasseh, but God told him, surely I will be with you because I see what you can’t see about yourself. You’re a mighty man of Valour which makes you the best man for the job. There are potentials in you that won’t surface until you launch out in faith. Before river Jordan parted, the Priest had to step on it first. Don’t be limited by your background and state of poverty, you’re the best man for the job, arise for God is with you.

* Break the ice and make God and humanity proud. God be with you. Amen
