A Promise For You From Bible Promises: [23/06/16]

Topic: God Is No Respecter of Persons

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: Acts 10:34. Read: Acts 10:34-36

One of the lesson from ex-queen Vashti mishap is that, we’re all important in the plan of God but not indispensable, there is always someone better than us to replace us if we disappoint God. God is a Sovereign God, He does anything and what He likes. He doesn’t do partial or show favouritism, He is no respecter of person, He honour those that honour Him and discard those that disregard Him. When Eli and his family failed and refused to repent of their shortcoming, there was reversal of previous promise made unto them and destruction followed.

God is no respecter of persons, He doesn’t consider educational qualifications oftentimes before He promotes because He quality the unqualified. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes. He took Mephibosheth (a dead dog) from nowhere and set him before the king’s table and ate. He made the barren woman mother of children, the poor rich and the sick whole. He is no respecter of background or colour, But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. He can save you and your household if you fear Him. Do you fear the Lord?

* The fear of the Lord is a tool of deliverance
