The Federal Government on Wednesday announced the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit, also known as fuel as it will now sell for N145 per litre.
Kachiku said that the decision was informed by the outcome of a stakeholders meeting held with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo
The minister said that the government ‘expect that the new policy will lead to improved supply and competition and eventually drive down pump prices as we have experienced with diesel.’
