There is no vehicle with engine but without fuel/diesel that will move an inch. So is every Christian without the Holy Spirit. The promise of the Father is the coming of the Holy Spirit upon all flesh for supernatural living on planet earth. Joel 2:28. Just what fuel/diesel does to a car is what the Holy Spirit do for every Christian that have Him, He empower us to do the supernatural in this ordinary world. Jesus knew that none of His disciples could succeed in ministry business without the Holy Spirit; hence, He told them to wait until the Holy Spirit is released upon them, lest, they get frustration for result by the prince of this world – Satan. Before Jesus sent the seventy out to preached the good news, He first of all empowered them which made the devil to obeyed them.
This promise of the Father was fulfilled in Acts 2 on the Pentecost day when they all spoke in new tongues. Timid Peter that denied Jesus three consecutive time suddenly became bold to speak to the crowd which won about 3, 000 souls. As described in Acts 2:8, Holy Spirit gives power and boldness. He empowers you to fulfill your destiny. He boost and spur you up in spiritual issues and growth. He reveals things to come to you.
